At 27, Jacob Bryant has lived through more than men twice his age. Hidden behind his blue eyes and
charming smile lies a past of addiction, death, and divorce that have fueled his songwriting and pushed
him to track some of his most popular biographical anthems including “Save My Soul,” “This Side of
Sober,” “Too Late to Turn Around,” “Country Went to Hell,” and “Up In Flames.” The Jasper, Ga., native
performs with the vigor of a seasoned road dog and delivers a show that combines the storytelling of
country music with the passion of rock.
“It’s Country Music done my way,” says Bryant.
His 2016 EP Up In Smoke debuted at #7 on ITunes Country Chart and the video for the single A
Woman’s Touch, debuted at number one on CMT’s 12 pack countdown – and stayed in the top 5 for 17
weeks! It’s hard to imagine the up-and-comer with such rich vocals once failed middle school chorus
being he was too shy to sing in front of people.
Bryant grew up in the mountains of north Georgia where he started on the indigenous stylings of his
family’s Bluegrass band. “I was 8 when I first started playing guitar, “he explains. “I listened to Bluegrass
music over and over again while strumming my Martin. I love Flat Lonesome and
Mountain Heart.” As he got older, Jacob started playing in church where he served as leader
of the youth group.
The singer/songwriter continued to hone his craft and took his show on the road after graduating from
high school, but It was New Year’s Day 2010 when his life changed forever. “My Mom had taken a nap
and didn’t wake up. I was on my way to Nashville when I got the call and my whole world fell
apart.” Bryant began a downhill spiral in the throes of addiction. “I had trouble dealing with my
mother’s death, and it took me looking in the mirror and
realizing I wasn’t happy with the person looking back at me to turn things around. I was able, with help,
to completely quit drinking for a long time and to get control of my life. My mother would have wanted
me to continue on with my music; it was her dream. I kind of made her dream my dream,” shares
Bryant.
He turned to songwriting to process his grief and wrote “Sometimes I Pray” as tribute to his mother and
later tracked a song that depicted his battle with demons in “This Side Of Sober.” “I love playing that
song live. The fans always sing it back to me. It’s the one that changed my life,” says Bryant. He
continues to write on his own and with pals; penning a tune with fellow country newcomer Luke Combs
called “Out There.” “ I also wrote a song with my good buddy, Jon Lawhon, of the rock band Blackstone
Cherry. Jon told me they were going to cut a version of Save My Soul which is so cool. It’s one of my
favorites.”
2017 marks the release of his fifth EP (Jacob Bryant Unplugged Vol 2) and two new singles (Best Part of
Me Is You, and a new one due in November) in anticipation of his first full length record coming in
February of 2018. “I’m really proud and excited for my fans about the new record” says Bryant. “We
recorded a couple of my most requested songs from our live show along with a number of new songs I
can’t wait to share”.

You can add another nickname to the music man they call “Le Boss.” High-energy showman Wayne Toups has long been dubbed “The Cajun Springsteen,” but now you can add the title “Grammy winner” to his name. On Feb. 10, 2013, Wayne was honored with his first Grammy Award. His CD The Band Courtbouillon with Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy was announced as Best Regional Roots Music Album at the prestigious ceremony.
“My feet still haven’t touched the ground,” says Toups. “It’s something I’ll never forget. We walked the red carpet and everything. It was all really pretty amazing. “It was my first nomination and my first win,” adds the Louisiana music maker with a grin. “I’m batting 1,000.”
The Grammy Award caps a wave of recent career highs for Wayne Toups. In 2009, he earned an Album-of-the-Year award from Offbeat magazine. In 2010, he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. In 2011, he entered both the Gulf Coast Hall of Fame and the Cajun French Music Hall of Fame.
Toups has been booked at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for an unprecedented 27 consecutive years, including 2013. This year will also mark his continued activism in the Coastal Vision Foundation, the organization dedicated to restoring America’s eroding ocean coastlines. “We are losing 2,400 acres a year in Louisiana, alone,” says Toups. “And it’s not just the Gulf Coast. Look what our eroded coastline resulted in when Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey and New York. We’ll be doing several fund-raisers for the organization this year.”
Appropriately, Wayne Toups Coastal Visions will be the title of his 2013 album. Also scheduled for release this year is Chance Favors the Prepared Mind, a filmed documentary about his life. “I sat down and told my whole story,” he comments. “I didn’t hold anything back,” including his struggle to overcome substance abuse seven years ago. Wayne Toups picked up the accordion at age 13 and hasn’t put it down since. He mixes Cajun sounds with the rhythms of zydeco, adding elements of soul music and Southern rock. He calls the revved-up result “zydecajun,” and his electrifying group, “a Cajun fusion band with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude.”
He has recorded more than a dozen albums and toured to more than 20 countries. His songs have been heard on such film soundtracks as Steel Magnolias and Dirty Rice. Always in demand for session work in his native Louisiana, Wayne Toups has also been hired to back the British pop artist Thomas Dolby as well as many of the stars of Nashville, including Alan Jackson (“Little Bitty”), Clay Walker (“Live, Laugh, Love”), Mark Chesnutt (“It Sure Is Monday” and “Gonna Get a Life”), Sammy Kershaw, George Jones, Garth Brooks, Ty England and Mark Wills. “I want to share my Grammy with the people,” says Wayne Toups. “We’ll be doing more than 100 shows this year. I’ve surrounded myself with some really good players, so the band is better than ever. Everything just seems so much easier these days.” |

Parish County Line is a country music band based in Baton Rouge, LA. They formed in 2012 when Derek Shipley of Centreville, MS met Travis Hood of Denham Springs, LA and decided they wanted to bring 90's Country Music back to South Louisiana. It wasn't but a few days later they formed Parish County Line. Shortly after forming they were joined by Ross Pilcher (St. Francisville, LA) on lead guitar and in 2015 they added Trent Ciaccio (Baton Rouge, LA) on drums. At the end of 2017 they added Zach Stephens (Watson, LA) on steel guitar to really complete the "True Country" sound they had always been looking for.
Their first EP was realeased in the summer of 2017 and the group has since taken the Baton Rouge music scene by storm (including winning DIG Magazine's Greatest Local Band for the 2nd year in a row).
Things changed drastically for PCL after signing their first Official Sponsorship with Bud Light in 2017 and the future seems very bright for the boys.
The last few months the group has been focused on writing new songs and building an unforgettable on-stage performance.

August 23, 2019 |
7:30 PM |

Tyler Farr’s a thinker, an observer of the human condition, a man in the middle of a surging testosterone country movement in today’s Nashville who insists on digging a little deeper, getting a little realer and owning how hard it can be. On Suffer In Peace, the son of a Garden City, Missouri farmer opens his veins and examines the pain that comes from being truly engaged with living.
From the wracked hangover of what you don’t see coming in love “Withdrawals,” the smoky acoustic “I Don’t Even Want This Beer” or the spare run-from-the-memories title track, the classically-trained vocalist knows that love isn’t just hard, it’s risky. With a resonant tenor that has a powdery bottom and a warm center, Farr heats up difficult emotions and peels back what most men barricade behind bravado.
Not that he’s looking to throw an industrial strength pity party. From Craig Wiseman’s thumpin’ “C.O.U.N.T.R.Y.,” the hillbilly word-tumble a la Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” straight through to “Damn Good Friends,” which features tour mate and pal Jason Aldean trading verses celebrating good ole boy’s hanging tough, Suffer is also the gusto of cold beer after a hard day’s work, the notion of raising Hell and chasing the night and the grass roots eroticism that happens when you lose the posturing.
Farr evokes old school rednecks, hellions and honky-tonkers like the Hank Jr of Major Moves and 5-0, the John Anderson of “Swingin’” and “Let Somebody Else Drive,” Gary Stewart in his prime and Keith Whitley channeling Lefty Frizzell in “I Never Go Around Mirrors.” Confessing, “I chew tobacco, I don’t smoke. I drink whiskey ‘cause I like it,” he suggests his vices qualify him straight up and honest.
But his affinity for hard country and honky-tonk comes from an even more bedrock place: his parents. Following behind his father’s tractor raking the hay on the 150 acres he raised cattle on, Farr was basted in Ronnie Milsap, Conway Twitty’s “She’s Got A Single Thing In Mind,” Vince Gill’s I Still Believe In You and Sammy Kershaw’s Politics, Religion & Her – and his Mom, an aspiring singer who loved Dan Seals’ “Bop,” ended up married to George Jones touring guitarist, which pulled Farr right up to the bumper of one of country’s greatest raw lightning vocalists, as well as being exposed to Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, and Gene Watson. |

John Paul Morgan was born February 19, 1964, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cultural, political and economic diversity of that city laid the groundwork for his development as a performer. John is one of nine children and after high school he attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana Lafayette) where he earned degrees in English, Political Science, and Interpersonal Communications. It was during his college career that John discovered he had the gift of comedy.
After working as the Director of Marketing for a group of psychiatric hospitals in his native Louisiana, John decided that the best way to use his comedic and communication skills was to bring himself to the masses.
John has worked steadily at comedy clubs, corporate events, and musical arenas. He has made national television appearances on MTV, Showtime, and Night Watch with Charlie Rose. He has been the opening act for Kathleen Madigan, Michael Bolton, The Monkeys, Ronnie Cole, Jerry Seinfeld, and Helen Reddy.
John’s confident demeanor and honest approach to life is refreshingly original. John dares to talk boldly about real issues. Whether he is speaking about children or relationships, his comedy comes from the heart. Although his material may push some limits, it is never derogatory to any race, sex or creed.
In addition to his stand up career John specializes in motivational speaking and couples counseling. During these engagements John leaves out some of the humor and injects this with feelings. This gives audiences a new perspective and a change in attitudes. He helps people see the meaning behind the message.
So whether it’s a specialized group or a night at the comedy club, this Ragin’ Cajun is as sweet as a honey glazed ham and as hot as a Tabasco chili pepper. |

With two No. 1 singles, 7 Top 10 singles and multiple awards and nominations, plus performances on some of the biggest stages in the world including performing on one of the biggest and most talked about tours in country music-Carrie Underwood’s The Storyteller Tour, Easton Corbin continues to make a lasting impression and leaving his footprint on country music. The Florida native is lauded for his unapologetic and unwavering traditional country sound, authentic lyrics and mastery of understatement. An accomplished songwriter in his own right, Corbin has always been just as talented on picking great songs from some of Nashville’s best songwriters. Corbin has built a catalog of signature hits that include some of the most played and well-known songs in country music including “A Little More Country Than That,” “Roll With It,” “Lovin’ You Is Fun” and “Baby Be My Love Song” from his No. 1 debuting album About To Get Real. His emotional “Are You With Me” was the most added song at radio the day it was released. His most recent single “A Girl Like You” landed at No. 3 on the country singles chart and garnered rave reviews. Taste of Country picked it as a Critics Pick saying, “It takes a fraction of a second to know Easton Corbin is on to something different with “A Girl Like You.”
Corbin’s fans have been loud and eager for him to release new music. The avid outdoorsman has been holed up, hard at work in the studio working on new music. The first single, “Somebody’s Gotta Be Country,” is already garnering attention and is proving to be another hit and he has more where that came from. |

Frank Foster embodies musical independence at it’s highest level. He not only has taken the road less traveled, but the road almost never traveled. Acting as his own record label, management, booking agency and publishing company, he has managed to find success that some major label artist may never find. This rural Louisiana native and former oilfield man has taken his songs from the campfire to the coliseum seemingly overnight, all the while gaining a following of fans whose loyalty is unmatched.
His musical journey started in 2011 with the release of his first album “Rowdy Reputation”. To follow that up, in the late summer of 2012, he released his second album “Red Wings and Six Strings”, which debuted on the Billboard Country Charts at #30. Each and every song from both of those albums have become nightly sing-a-longs at his shows. Foster’s third album, “Southern Soul”, was released in 2013 and debuted at #11 on the Billboard Country Charts confirming that his popularity was continuing to soar to new heights. His fourth album, “Rhythm and Whiskey”, was released in 2014 and debuted at #4 on the Billboard Country Charts solidifying him as a true power house in the industry. He followed that up with his fifth album, 2016’s “Boots On the Ground”, which gave him his second top 10 debuting album in as many years. It entered the Billboard Country Charts at #7. Later in 2016, he released his 6th album, “Good Country Music”, which debuted at #13 on the Billboard Country Charts. He’s a singer, a songwriter and his own boss. He refuses to let anyone water down his kind of country music. If he lives it, he writes it; if he writes it, he sings it; if he sings it, he believes it. Frank Foster…. a true original. |

Singer-songwriter Jon Langston’s musical heroes growing up included Alan Jackson and the Eagles. Then, following multiple concussions and the end of his Division I football career, Jon focused on music and worked to develop his own style and sound while drawing from that variety of influences. In 2013 with the release of his first song, “Forever Girl,” Jon’s live shows began to grow, and he found himself opening for Chase Rice at Georgia’s Kennesaw State University. It was his first-ever full band show, and when the crowd sang “Forever Girl” along with him, Jon knew he wanted to pursue a career in music. The now 27-year-old Music City resident has since signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV, management with KP Entertainment, landed a record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville, and is fostering his own voice in country music. The Georgia native is the first artist under Luke Bryan’s new label, 32 Bridge Entertainment, and will be worked in conjunction with EMI Records Nashville. He released his major label debut single “When It Comes To Loving You” which landed in the Top 5 of the all-genre iTunes Chart and has accumulated over 9 million streams. Parker McCollum |
The Texas Club |
September 27, 2019 |
September 28, 2019 |
7:30 PM |
2:00 AM |
Parker McCollum comes from a no-nonsense, hard-working family. His was the sort of upbringing where “if you’re going to do something and you’re not going to do it one-hundred percent; you shouldn’t do it all.” It’s why this 25-year-old treats each song he writes with a painstaking level of dedication, reverence, and — as he readily admits — even a bit of obsession.
Parker says when a particular melody, lyric or emotion tugs at him he might stay in his room for days working on it. He can’t help himself.
That’s because, for the Austin-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, the result is worth the painstaking process. Parker — who broke out with the revealing and critically adored 2013 debut The Limestone Kid and returned with the acclaimed, Probably Wrong — says, “its like the songwriting muse takes over. I don’t choose when it hits me, but when it does, I pay attention — and it’s always worth the focus it asks of me.“
Probably Wrong (Nov. 10, 2017), pulls back the curtain to reveal Parker’s depth of artistry. The 10-track LP, written after the dissolution of a long-term relationship, is equal parts self-flagellating and transcendent. It is also the most honest he has ever been in song. There’s an inherent pain that bleeds through in the raw transparency of stunning songs including “I Can’t Breathe” and “Hell of a Year.” For Parker, putting his most intimate thoughts and feelings to song is more of a welcome relief than an act of bloodletting. “I don’t talk about my feelings very often,” he notes. “I keep a lot of things in most of the time, and I don’t want anybody else to have to deal with my stuff. So, I write songs instead.”
In the wake of The Limestone Kid’s release, and its lead single “Meet You in the Middle” finding success at regional radio, McCollum says “in the blink of an eye” his life drastically changed.” The then-22-year-old went from a life goofing off with his buddies and passing his days strumming the guitar to traveling from one gig to the next, not as a “nobody,” but rather a revered traveling musician with a fervent fan-base. McCollum always wanted to be a singer-songwriter, but he admits he was caught a bit off guard by the buzz around Limestone. “I felt like I was playing catch up for two years,” he says.
In speaking with McCollum, it’s easy to detect the sense of wonderment and romance he still attaches to the brutally honest songwriters he first revered during his teenage years. Men like Townes Van Zandt, Todd Snider, Steve Earle and James McMurtry — even as a wide-eyed and innocent young man, McCollum sensed these musicians were speaking to a more powerful truth.
“It would jerk my soul out of me,” he says of encountering and quickly becoming enamored with their music and subsequently dedicating his life to molding songs of a similarly revealing bent. “There’s nothing else I’ve ever encountered that has had as much influence on me,” he explains. “That’s all I wanted to listen to. It was my thing.”
To that end, when he began writing the songs that would ultimately comprise Probably Wrong, McCollum felt it necessary to be alone with little more than his emotions and a guitar. “I needed to write this record and be on my own,” he says of what led him to end a two-year relationship and retreat inward. “I felt very misunderstood throughout the entire situation,” he adds. “I broke my own heart for the first time just to write this record.” For six weeks, McCollum did nothing but stare at a piece of paper filled with soul-crushing lyrics and engage with his sadness. “And I’m not a sad person,” he says with a laugh. “But I had done it to myself … intentionally.”
The pain still lingers, but McCollum says accessing it to write his new album allowed him to pen some of his most poignant material to date. “Hell of a Year,” which he calls his “sleeper favorite of the record,” came from McCollum breaking down one night in his truck in a fast-food parking lot. “My heart’s out of love/I fell out of line/I swore I’d never leave again/And I lied,” he sings over a gentle acoustic guitar figure. “When I set out to write this record this was the type of song I was gunning for,” he says of “Hell of a Year.” “It was the hardest song I’ve ever written as far as being that honest. But after doing so, I could go back to being happy for a little bit.” On the slow-rolling “Misunderstood,” the singer throws his hands in the air and makes peace with what he can’t control. “You told me I was no good/It’s alright babe/I’m pretty used to being misunderstood.”
Singing such soul-baring songs is a decidedly therapeutic act for McCollum. “When the melody is so spot-on, and it hooks me, everything that I have been bottling up or not talking about comes out.” It’s why the singer says he lives to perform. “Next to songwriting my live show is most important,” he offers. |

**TICKETS NOW ON SALE!!**
When you grow up in the middle-of-nowhere Northeast Louisiana, a 20-minute drive from the nearest town, you learn a few lessons early on. Chief among them is this: If you want something done, you’ve got to make it happen yourself – even if it’s becoming a bona fide Country star. Just ask Curb Records talent Dylan Scott.
“You have to work at it if you want it,” the hitmaker says. “You can’t sit back and expect someone else to make it happen for you, you’ve gotta do it yourself.”
Scott has lived by that mantra his whole life, and lately he’s been rewarded for the effort. With his romantic, PLATINUM-certified #1 hit “My Girl,” GOLD-certified Top 5 smash “Hooked,” and Top 5 breakout album DYLAN SCOTT, he’s transformed real-life experience into chart-topping success, sold out some of the nation’s most famous venues on headline tours, and performed for millions on national TV. And now with his electrifying NOTHING TO DO TOWN - EP, a new chapter begins – one that proves no matter how far Scott comes, he won’t forget where he started.
“You gotta stay true to your hometown roots,” he says. “And I think the way you do that is to just be you.”
Lucky for him, Scott’s roots run deep in Country music. His father played guitar for stars like Freddy Fender and Freddie Hart, regaling the youngster with stories from the road and encouraging a love for soul-bearing icons like Keith Whitley, Alan Jackson, and Tim McGraw. Scott was still in high school when he arrived in Nashville to chase his own dreams, but his drive to succeed was obvious from the start.
He began writing songs with anyone who was willing, and hit the road hard for up to 200 shows each year. Then, after a blistering rise through the Country ranks, his bootstrap-pulling work ethic paid off. “My Girl” shot to the top of the radio charts in the summer of 2016, earning Scott his first-ever PLATINUM certification and revealing an artist with a knack for hot-and-heavy sensitivity plus a strong connection to fans, having surpassed 200 million views on YouTube alone with intense social media support.
Fans got the message, and Scott’s self-titled album debut landed at #5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, helping boost his digital totals to over 600 million on-demand streams with sales topping 4 million to date. He made a triumphant Grand Ole Opry debut and commanded crowds exceeding 20,000 fans spanning his nearly sold-out NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR 2019. The addictive passion behind “Hooked” earned Scott another smash, becoming a GOLD-certified #2 and propelling him to be selected among Country Radio Seminar 2019’s New Faces of Country Music® Class of 2019 – a coveted industry honor recognizing him as one of the most promising artists of the coming year. But even amidst all that success, Scott is still looking home.
Produced once again by Matt Alderman, Curt Gibbs, and Jim Ed Norman, NOTHING TO DO TOWN - EP fuses a hard-charging romantic edge with themes inspired by family and Scott’s youth in rural Louisiana over six fresh tracks – five of which were co-written by Scott. Fusing a hard-charging romantic edge with themes inspired by family and Scott’s youth in rural Louisiana. The set delivers everything from laid-back tenderness to danceable, chest-thumping thrills.
“Country is what I grew up on, but at the same time I listened to Pop and Hip-Hop and everything else,” he says, adding that his job as an artist is to evolve and welcome inspiration anywhere he can. “When you see fans smiling and forgetting about the work week and whatever’s going on in their life, that’s what it’s all about to me.”
With the album’s title track, the singer-songwriter takes a lifetime of small-town memories and puts them to verse. Co-written with Alderman and Cole Taylor, “Nothing to Do Town” celebrates the way Scott grew up – namely, making his own fun and being proud of where he came from. Chosen as the album’s first single, the up-tempo party-starter marked the biggest add date at Country radio of his career thus far, hinting at another hit in the making.
Meanwhile, more of Scott’s personal truth is revealed by the grooving “Look at Us Now,” marrying propulsive beats to a family-focused message inspired by the long-standing relationship between him and his high school sweetheart-now wife Blair.
“I just like to write songs people can relate to,” he explains, saying Blair and the couple’s young son, Beckett, continue to form the foundation of each track. “[Blair and I have] been together since we were 15, so she’s inspired it all. It’s just stuff that’s inside of me.”
What’s inside of him also includes “Nobody,” a soulmate-soundtrack framed by piano and dedicated to significant others who can still turn heads – and the knowledge that no matter what, they’re still coming home with you. “You Got Me” comes off like a breezy, front-porch anthem, while “Honey I’m Home” takes shelter in the warmth of true love – scoring points for its chill-bump-inducing chorus hook along the way – and “Anniversary” stands out as a steamy, R&B-inflected candlelight jam, complete with silk sheets and rose petals.
Together, those tracks mark the turning of a page for Scott, an artist whose red-hot rising stock is proven by the fact he just scored his first ever award nomination – up for Best New Country Artist at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Things are about to get even crazier for Scott, as the dedicated father and family man can now say with certainty he’s making his dreams happen. But according to him, the lessons instilled by that “Nothing to Do Town” won’t fade.
“I tell people I grew up knowing what I wanted to do, and now I’m doing exactly that,” Scott says. “I’m in the spotlight a little bit now, but with the way my parents raised me, it’s not about being famous. This is all about the music and the fans.” |

Aaron Watson isn’t interested in what someone else thinks he should do. But instead of getting lonely as he sidesteps expectations, he’s gaining followers––hundreds of thousands of them. Delivered with a warm smile and fueled by a wild spirit, Watson’s rebellion echoes the land that helped make him.
Watson remains strikingly similar to the people that still dot his native West Texas. They’re a rugged people, proud of home but humble and hardworking, the first to help a neighbor but also fiercely independent. And Watson is unquestionably one of them. “I’ve always considered myself an anti-rock star,” Watson says, his drawl cracking slightly as he grins. “People don’t like me because I’m a rock star. People like me because I’m just like them.”
Throughout his 17-year career that spans a dozen albums and more than 2,500 shows throughout the U.S. and Europe, 39-year-old Watson has stubbornly and sincerely identified with the everyman––even as he’s proven to be the exception to the rule.
The latest evidence of Watson’s homespun singularity is Vaquero, an ambitious 16-song set of character-driven storytelling, level-headed cultural commentary, and love songs for grown- ups that promise to further solidify his status as one of today’s finest torch-bearers of real country music.
Vaquero is the follow-up to 2015’s The Underdog, an acclaimed collection that also made history. Watson was sitting at his kitchen table as his wife Kim scrambled eggs when he got the call: The Underdog had debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. It was the first time an independent, male country artist had ever outsold majors to premiere at the top spot. “We started jumping around and squealing like kids,” he says. “It was a beautiful moment because I got to share it with the girl who believed in me when I was broke and playing some pawnshop guitar. It is something I’ll never forget.” That momentous instant also arrived with a built-in challenge. “Once we dried the tears of joy, it hit me,” Watson says. “I had my work cut out for me for my next album.”
Determined, Watson committed to waking up every morning before the sun rose to write songs on that same old pawnshop guitar he scored 20 years ago. “I bet you I couldn’t get $50 for that guitar,” he says. “But it means the world to me.” He penned songs in the back of a bus on the highway, too, as the band spent the last two years playing more than 35 states and six countries.
The result is Vaquero, a bold album that confidently draws from Texas’ storied musical melting pot: dancehall shuffles, dustbowl narratives, Tejano, and more fill the record. In writing the new album, Watson felt especially drawn to the idea of the Vaquero, the original Spanish horseman that set the foundation for the North American cowboy, a solitary figure
with a legendary work ethic. Watson is a modern-day Vaquero––he just gets up at 5 a.m. to wrangle songs instead of cattle. And while he won’t deny the pressure he felt following his last album’s success, outside barometers can’t compel him to change who he is or what he writes. Watson is Watson, chart-topping record or not.
“This is the first album I’ve ever made where if it’s the last album I ever make, I could be content with that,” Watson says of Vaquero.
One listen and it’s easy to understand why. Album opener “Texas Lullaby” pays lilting homage both to home and to the bravery of the young heroes fighting wars. Deep connections to place and family course throughout the record. Sing-along “These Old Boots Have Roots” celebrates new love by offering promises grounded in the honor and grace of past generations. A fiddle accents Watson’s lines playfully then escalates to a hopeful roar.
Romance is a central theme of the album, but Watson isn’t interested in adding to the steady stream of hook-up anthems coming out of Music Row. Watson’s love songs are celebrations of monogamy and the bonds that only time, mutual respect, and persistence can build. The swinging, fiddle-soaked “Take You Home Tonight” anticipates a steamy night in, while “Run Wild Horses” is a passionate ode to lovemaking featuring a standout vocal performance from Watson, whose laid-back croon lets loose and soars. Infectious first single “Outta Style” and shuffling “Be My Girl Tonight” both praise staying power and explore how to protect it.
Watson revels in another kind of love on the album closer, “Diamonds & Daughters.” Two years ago, his then four-year-old daughter asked him to write her a song for his next record. “I thought it sure would be special if I could write her a song right now that we could dance to at her wedding someday,” he says. That’s exactly what he did. A tender look at the past, present, and future, the song will undoubtedly touch every parent and daughter who hears it.
The title track is an accordion-fueled joy, buoyed by Watson’s delivery of life lessons courtesy of an old Vaquero sitting alone at a bar. “Mariano’s Dream” and “Clear Isabel” are companion pieces, placed back-to-back to stunning cinematic effect. Plaintive instrumental “Mariano’s Dream” kicks off the experience, haunting and sad as an acoustic guitar carries listeners through a lush Tex-Mex soundscape. The song then segues into “Clear Isabel,” and listeners soon discover the Mariano named in the previous track is father to Isabel. A story of sacrifice and heartbreak, “Clear Isabel” imbues the souls who choose to cross a river in search of safety with the dignity and beauty they deserve. “It’s one of my favorite moments on the record,” Watson says. “I feel like if I could play Guy Clark that song, he’d smile.”
“They Don’t Make ‘Em Like They Used To” begins as warm nostalgia, and other comforts before intensifying into no mere stroll down memory lane, but an increasingly indignant rant, capturing the hurt and anger of a country that’s currently reeling politically and socially. “I think it might be the best song I’ve ever written,” Watson says.
Refusing to worry about charts or current trends, Watson hopes the main thing Vaquero accomplishes is bringing his growing legion of fans joy. And no matter what happens next, he is anchored and ready. “It doesn’t really matter whether I’m playing a dancehall in Texas or a stadium tour around the world, I’m just me,” he says. “I won’t change. I’m just too rooted in what I believe in. When you’ve played for such a long time to nobody, now that there’s somebody, you really don’t take that for granted.” |

101.5 WYNK welcomes Matt Stell featuring John King!
With a style that bridges contemporary country and Americana but dips into rock, blues, and classic singer/songwriter fare, Matt Stell began releasing music in the early 2010s after teaching himself guitar while in college. He had a breakthrough with the streaming hit "Prayed for You" in 2018.
Raised mostly in Center Ridge, Arkansas, with some time spent in Central Florida, Matt Stell grew up listening to a mix of classic country, country-rock, blues-rock, and rap while making a name for himself in basketball. (His high school AAU team once claimed victory over LeBron James.) He went on to play college basketball at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where he started playing guitar between school and team obligations. As soon as he could play Barre chords, he began writing songs and performing at a local bar. Music quickly became a passion, though he finished a master's degree in communications at the University of Arkansas, did mission trips to Haiti, and considered medical school before deciding to pursue it as a vocation.
Stell released the album A River Through It via 124 Records in 2013, following it with the single "Country Love Song" in 2015. In the meantime, he opened shows for headliners including Luke Bryan and Eric Church. An offer from Wide Open Music in Nashville, Tennessee led to the release of the single "Prayed for You" and the EP Last of the Best in 2018. "Prayed for You" went viral, amassing over ten million streams across platforms before the end of the year. |

A quartet of Southern rock traditionalists from Nashville, the Steel Woods lay claim to the sound pioneered by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Like Skynyrd, the Steel Woods balance heavy blues-rock with Southern poetry, and they add a bit of plainspoken outlaw country to the mix, as evidenced on their 2017 debut Straw in the Wind.
Prior to forming the Steel Woods, guitarists Wes Bayliss and Jason "Rowdy" Cope were both pursuing musical careers. Cope found work as a session musician and played in Jamey Johnson's band, but once he met Bayliss at a Nashville gig, the two clicked. They became friends and wound collaborating, adding bassist Johnny Stanton and drummer Jay Tooke to round out their lineup. An eponymous EP came out in 2016, and the next year saw the release of Straw in the Wind on Thirty Tigers/Woods Music. A cover of Tom Petty's "Southern Accents" arrived in December 2018 as the first track off their 2019 full-length Old News. |

"The only thing standing between you and what you want in life is air and opportunity. Take a deep breath and go get it."
His father’s words made a huge impression on Sam Riggs, and the Texas singer/songwriter is a relentless adventurer, a guy who pursues music, flying and mountain climbing with equal amounts of passion. They’re all unpredictable activities that require some level of risk for an adrenaline-infused reward, the same payoff he gets from Love & Panic, an album that explores the highs and lows of the ultimate gamble: romantic relationships.
“Love & Panicis kind of an unfiltered, in-your-face record that came from that mindset of ‘This is me, like it or not,’” Riggs says.
There is much to like about Riggs, whose rock-tinged brand of country folds in such diverse influences as Blink-182, 3 Doors Down, George Jones and Hank Williams Jr. He self-released his first two albums, then partnered with independent firms for his third and fourth releases, including Breathless, which went to No. 12 on the BillboardTop Country Albums charts.
A number of his singles hit the upper levels of the Texas charts, including the ultra-country “Hold On And Let Go,” the thumping concert re-creation “High On A Country Song” and his vulnerable “Second Hand Smoke.” To top it off, Riggs picked up the Texas Regional Radio Award in 2016 for Top New Male Vocalist.
A hike with his brother through the beautiful-but-challenging Zion Narrows in Utah’s Zion National Park cleansed Riggs’ soul and rejuvenated his sense of adventure. As a result, Riggs founded the Air and Opportunity Adventure Company, a firm that oversees hikes, climbs, private flights and helicopter rides, all designed to challenge people’s limits and help them develop the tools and confidence to battle depression, anxiety and other issues.
Riggs’ extreme exploits also gave him the courage to dive into the relationship issues at the heart of Love & Panic. The topics have universal value, and the album furthers his undeniable desire to connect with the world through music.
“I don't play music to be famous,” he says. “I play music and I write songs because it comes naturally to me and it feels good to express emotion that way. But also because there's a torch to be carried.” |

"Chase Tyler has hit another home run!". So says Carley McCord of WTGE 100.7 The Tiger about Chase's latest CD, "Tailgate Sunset". "We just love all of the songs and already have two of them in rotation on The Tiger." Awesome!” says WYNK Country 101.5’s Austin James. "Chase Tyler is one of the rising stars on the country music scene,” adds Sugarlips Chris Powers of WTGE. Nationally syndicated DJs Big D and Bubba simply say: “Chase Tyler ROCKS!”.
Tailgate Sunset marks the third full length release by this south Louisiana artist who has made a career of making great music since before he was old enough to drive. As with prior releases, the LP contains a cross section of songs - love lost and found, feel good music, and religious introspection. There's even a fan requested cover of Van Morrison's Into the Mystic. In other words, there's something for everyone.
The prestigious fan site ReverbNation ranks the Chase Tyler Band #1 for the greater Baton Rouge area and in the Top 50 country acts nationwide.

Born in Jacksonville, Alabama, Riley Green was raised on the sounds of old traditional Country, Bluegrass, and Southern Gospel music. He learned the spirit of songwriting and performing at a young age while spending time with his grandfather, Bufford Green, who ran Golden Saw Music Hall. Riley shared the stage with him and other men of his generation, laying a foundation for the songs he’d craft in the years to come, reflecting on the experiences of a young Southern man trying to find his place in the world. With a mixture of outlaw-rebellion and respect for tradition, Riley’s original music has already tallied over 27million streams to date while his latest music video for “Bury Me In Dixie” has been viewed over a million times since last fall. Constantly touring throughout the southeast over the past five years to thousands of fans, Riley has also built fierce support on social media.

A proud adherent of country music traditions, singer and songwriter Dillon Carmichael is blessed with a rich, deep voice and a talent for finding new wrinkles in the tropes of classic country music. Carmichael's music strikes a sweet spot between the Bakersfield sound of the '60s (embraced by Merle Haggard and Buck Owens) and the outlaw style of the '70s (think Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings), with a dash of Southern rock folded in. The product of a Kentucky family with deep roots in Southern music, Carmichael was performing professionally before he finished high school, and moved to Nashville as a songwriter just a few days after completing high school. After releasing his first single in 2017, Carmichael won the attention of fans and critics with his debut album, Hell on an Angel, in October 2018.
Dillon Carmichael was born in Burgin, a small town in Kentucky, and grew up with a family that was passionate about music. Both of his grandfathers, Harold Carmichael and Harold Montgomery, were professional musicians (the former was a gospel singer and the latter a country picker who appeared on the Grand Ole Opry). Both of Dillon's parents had been singers who often performed in public. And he also had two uncles who rose to fame in country music; John Michael Montgomery enjoyed a handful of hits in the '90s, while Eddie Montgomery was a co-founder of the rowdy, Southern rock-inspired act Montgomery Gentry. Dillon got his first guitar from his father when he was 11 years old, and he taught himself to play. Once he became comfortable with the instrument, teenaged Dillon put together a band with his friends, and they played talent shows and informal gigs around town. The band broke up, and Carmichael struck out on his own, writing songs and playing solo shows at bars throughout Kentucky.
When he was 18, Carmichael's talent came to the attention of a representative of a Nashville publishing house, who offered to strike a deal with Dillon once he graduated from high school. Four days after he got his diploma, Carmichael packed his bags and moved to Nashville, where he signed that publishing contract and began making his way into the Music City music community. As Carmichael honed his talent, his style began to reflect his early influences, which included the home truths of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings and the outlaw rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Eventually, Carmichael found a sympathetic collaborator in producer Dave Cobb, who had developed a reputation for his work with Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, and Chris Stapleton. Working together in the studio, Cobb helped Carmichael cut his debut single, an homage to classic country titled "Old Songs Like That," which was released in October 2017. A second single, "Made to Be a Country Boy," followed in February 2018. The two singles received positive notices in the country music press, as did Carmichael's first full-length album, Hell on an Angel, which was released by Riser House Records in October 2018 |

In the six years that this band has been together, they have made a name for themselves by opening for acts such as Luke Combs, Tracy Lawrence (3x), Russell Dickerson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Michael Ray, Jason Michael Carroll, William Michael Morgan, Frank Foster, Marc Broussard, and many more. Their soulful and highly energetic performances have allowed them to tour the southern U.S. to states such as Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and beyond the U.S. to San Pedro, Belize.
Clay received his first guitar at the age of 8 years old. At the age of 11, he learned his first two chords and began to write songs of his own. Little did he know, he would light a fire that would burn for many years to come.. Once he developed his love for music, Clay formed his first and only band, "Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys.” With the help of their “party-crowd“ performances and chart-topping singles, “Little Angel” and “Don’t Give A Damn,” they continue to pave their way through the local and regional music scene. |

With the fuel of Country, Southern rock and Delta blues pumping through his veins, CJ Solar is a natural at fusing all of his influences with pure musical talent and vocal chops into a badass new sound. Already turning heads in Nashville, Baton Rouge and beyond, having been named one of the “New Artists You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone Country, and racking up over four million streams on Spotify, Solar says the driving force behind his untimely success isn’t fame nor fortune – it’s just a diehard infatuation with the music he grew up on. Solar’s five-song Get Away With It EP was released in 2018 on Sea Gayle Records. He co-produced the EP with Brent Anderson and co-wrote all of the songs with the likes of Bob DiPiero, Rick Huckaby, Michael Hardy and others. The first single, “Airplane,” hit #15 and was one of the highest charting singles from an independent artist. Rolling Stone Country listed the single as one of their “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week.” The hard driving “American Girls” also hit #15. Massive online outlet PopCulture premiered the accompanying music video, which includes a cameo by country star Jerrod Niemann and is now being played on CMT, Heartland and The Country Network. The chart success of both singles led to CJ being named “Independent Artist of the Year” at the 17th Annual MusicRow Country Breakout Awards ceremony in February and he was nominated this summer for Music Row Breakthrough Artist-Writer of the Year. |

The best introduction to Jon Wolfe is the basic yet not-so-simple fact that he’s a country singer and songwriter. To listen to Jon Wolfe is to learn his story — from small town Oklahoma, to a bustling big-city oil commodities trading floor, to the dance halls and honky-tonks of Texas and Oklahoma, to Music Row — and to witness his faith in the power of music and determination to touch the hearts of others with something that means so much to him.
His sound is informed by the great singers that inspired Wolfe — like George Strait, Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, and Dwight Yoakam — yet fired by his own contemporary energy and vision. With three highly-lauded studio albums in his repertoire, Wolfe’s garnered twelve consecutive Top Ten singles (six have hit No.1), positioning him as a must-see act in Texas, Oklahoma, and well beyond. Wolfe’s debut studio album It All Happened In A Honky Tonk (2010) became such a regional success that it was re-released by Warner Music Nashville in 2013.
The blend of rawness and accessibility of Natural Man (2015) gave Wolfe the undeniable identity of a torchbearer for country music. Any Night In Texas (2017) - Wolfe’s most recent and proudest collection of songs to date - landed at #3 on iTunes Country, #15 on Billboard Country, and continues to burn up the charts. Wolfe invites country music fans everywhere to dust off your boots, spin his music, and come see the electrifying live show that has everyone talking. |

John's confident demeanor and honest approach to life is refreshingly original.
So whether it's a specialized group or a night at the comedy club, this Ragin' Cajun is as sweet as a honey glazed ham and as hot as a Tabasco chili pepper.
He now resides in Plaquemine, Louisiana with his wife Lori, two sons Jack and Jake, and adopted daughter Lilah, from Mainland, China. John and his family live in true Louisiana style, dwelling in a 1903 Plantation called Homestead. The family purchased and restored the old estate twelve years ago.
When not at home playing such roles as husband, papa, handyman, spiderman, or power ranger, John travels the country doing comedy.
John Morgan is most happy at home with his family and friends. He enjoys the culture, food and lifestyle he grew up with. When not in this setting, it's the comedy stage that he feels most comfortable on.
In 2004, John was invited to perform at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, "Just For Laughs", in the Masters level.
To see him on stage is to witness the birth of a character. And Boy! ya should have seen that character when they told him he was going to Montreal!! HA HA HA |

One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King has never lived outside the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty, both gritty and graceful at the same time. He grew up singing in the back of a ‘93 Chevy Suburban, mimicking the pure-country vocals of stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson and over the years became drawn to the electrifying energy of modern stars like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album.
Now produced by traditional torchbearers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi), King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream – his brand-new track “Record High,” available everywhere now, captivates with loaded steel guitar, wide-open vocals and punchy, hard-rocking rhythm. Basking in heartbreak redemption and honkytonk amnesia, it’s a sure to be addition to country line dance playlists across the globe. With over 80+ million career streams to his name and more new music on the horizon, King is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself. |

The Texas Club presents LIVE in concert Chayce Beckham
Chayce Beckham is one of the most buzzed about newcomers in country music today, having won over millions of hearts while competing on Season 19 of American Idol. From the first audition, superstar Katy Perry highlighted how Chayce's gravely vocals sound like “the heart of America.” Armed with a determination to make something of himself and the unwavering support of his family, Chayce auditioned for the competition show after undergoing a particularly difficult year to ultimately become the first-ever show winner to claim the title with an original song—kickstarting his journey to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a singer, songwriter and entertainer.
With his family, his hometown of Apple Valley and now America behind him, the mellow 24-year-old with the alluring rasp recently released his debut song, "23." The song is a semi-autobiographical account of his struggles with alcohol and of the lows it can take a person. After its May release, the song quickly earned the top spot on both the iTunes Country and all genre charts. Now signed to 19 Recordings in partnership with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records and finding his home in Nashville, Chayce is ready to dig into new music and share his signature sound with his legions of fans. |

Following his first time onstage after performing in his fifth-grade talent show, the southern Californian began teaching himself guitar—eventually finding his way into a Reggae band (while earning his wages at a construction equipment rental company). Influenced by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Kolton Moore & The Clever Few, and knowing that country music was where his heart called home, Chayce turned to Instagram as a creative outlet for his more intimate songs, sharing his original material.

Flatland Cavalry is breaking out into a gallop. After years of hot trotting across their native Texas, the country outfit is primed for a breakout with the release of their third full-length album, the sonically sprawling and wistfully written Welcome to Countryland.
The Texas sextet--bandleader and chief lyricist Cleto Cordero, guitarist Reid Dillon, bassist Jonathan Saenz, drummer Jason Albers, fiddle player Wesley Hall, and recent newcomer utility instrumentalist Adam Gallegos--continue to embrace their trademark sound while further pushing into the wild unknown. When it was time to embark on recording a new album, resting on their laurels was simply out of the realm of possibilities.
After the release of 2019's critically-acclaimed Homeland Insecurity and their 2016 full-length debut Humble Folks, they’ve been on a healthy trajectory rising through the country ranks. After
years of working with Lubbock stalwart Scott Faris in the friendly confines of Amusement Park Studios, Flatland decided a change of scenery was necessary. Despite some hesitation and a
mix of emotions, they instantly knew recording at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studio A with rising producer Jake Gear was the right move.
"With our last two projects, we knew that room and setup. There's comfort in working with Scott," says Albers. "I think it was important to try and further expand with this album. Sonically, this album is definitely something bigger."
“I think everyone kind of experienced this bit of nervousness going from Scott’s studio to Sound Emporium,” adds Dillon. “That first day, everyone was a little fidgety and shy. You eventually fall into this comfort zone.”
While the roster of collaborative confidants and colleagues (Spencer Cullum, Jim Hoke, Billy Justineau, Hailey Whitters, and Kaitlin Butts) has continued to expand with Flatland's sound stride for stride, Countryland isn't a cut and paste effort with Nashville studio musicians. Rather, it finds the rootsy Texans delivering their A-game due to countless tour runs zig-zagging across the country and becoming seasoned performers and musicians.
Since their humble beginnings out in the Panhandle town of Lubbock, Texas, Flatland Cavalry has embraced their surroundings and rural West Texas roots. Formed in 2014 while attending Texas Tech University, Cordero and company made their presence felt within the Hub City's songwriting circles and dancehall circuits. Banking on Cordero's earnest pen and the band's blend of country instrumentation, toe-tapping grooves, and earworm choruses, Flatland quickly
became a regional sensation. |

Corey Smith, the fan-made man, has sold over 1 million concert tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and over 220,000 albums. Corey’s Spotify channel has amassed over 5.76 million listeners with more than 73 million streams and is currently averaging over 1.13 million streams each month.
Smith has amassed an unfailingly devout fan base, not only in his native Southeast region, but all around the nation, simply by telling it the way it is. He has released 10 albums—including 2011’s Top 20 release “The Broken Record”. Corey has written every word on every album and has produced 9 out of 10 of the records. In Summer 2015, Corey teamed up with producer Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) for his album, “While the Gettin’ Is Good,” released on Sugar Hill Records. Smith’s concerts, which were documented on his last live record, “Live in Chattanooga”, regularly sell out, with audiences singing along to such fan favorites as the coming-of-age anthem “Twenty-One,” the nostalgic time warp “If I Could Do It Again” and the group hug “I Love Everyone”. Corey has a consistent touring history, usually hitting around 120 dates per year, but recently has taken a pause form touring to undergo a risky eye surgery. During his time at home, Corey has begun releasing solo acoustic tracks every week, directly to his devoted fan base via his YouTube series Songsmith Weekly and all music streaming platforms. These tracks, such as “Cellophane”, “Where I Wish I Was” and “Going Blind” have re-energized his fan base. Corey is planning in compiling these releases in a more traditional album format later this year and is currently on tour. |

Authentic and unapologetic, Tyler Farr records songs he would listen to in his truck – windows down, sound up. It just so happens country music fans want to hear the same songs. Without pandering or compromise, Farr’s powerhouse vocals, real-guy relatability, and willingness to mine emotional themes and personal imperfection resonates with people searching to find themselves in the music that underscores their daily routines and future dreams. Farr signed his first recording contract in 2012 and released his debut album, Redneck Crazy in 2013. The record landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200. Farr’s Platinum-selling title-track “Redneck Crazy” launched back-to-back No. 1 singles, including his first No. 1 as a songwriter, with his Platinum-certified hit “Whiskey in my Water.” His sophomore album, Suffer In Peace released in 2015, followed suit, also making its debut in the Top 5 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums and Billboard Country Albums charts, which made Farr the only solo male Country artist in a decade to have his first two studio albums debut in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Farr has charted three #1 hits (“Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water,” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar”) and has been included in CRS New Faces of Country Radio and was nominated for Music Row’s “Breakthrough Artist of the Year.” He has also earned coveted slots touring with Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, and Luke Combs. Media outlets paid attention with Rolling Stone calling Farr a “no-frills musician who pours his drinks as hard as he pours his heart into his songs.” In March 2019, Farr singed a new record deal with BBR Music Group under Jason Aldean’s Night Train Records imprint, where he is solidly in the driver seat with his favorite songs on the radio. Aldean and Tyler are currently in the studio finalizing music for an upcoming full album. Farr’s latest single, “Cover Girl,” was recently released to all digital streaming platforms and tackles the harrowing issues of domestic violence and the lasting impact on the lives it touches. |

Chase McDaniel was raised by grandparents in the small town of Greensburg, Kentucky with traditional family values and old school country music. He was taught to bet on himself and that, paired with his rich baritone voice. All of that comes together as his latest song debuts #1 on the Billboard and iTunes country single charts and #4 all genres chart, an unprecedented feat for an independent artist.
Having some tough times early on, the music of George Jones, Johnny Cash, and Conway Twitty, and family who loved singing gospel, resonated with Chase developed a bit of an old soul when it comes to music. He started performing doing covers of Johnny Cash and started developing his own voice too.
Like many other musicians, he eventually made his way to Nashville. But with the pandemic and out of work, he was down to his last $12 and ready to pack up and head home when a friend loaned him money to stay a couple more weeks. Luck struck as one of the 50 restaurants he sent applications to offered him a job. He gave this shot everything he had — working double shifts, sleeping as little as four hours a night and writing and recording with his producer and best friend Jerry Jacobs every other minute of the day. After two years, he was able to quit his job and focus on music full-time.
What he’s developed — the sound, work ethic, and more are all uniquely his own as Chase is a true independent artist. He released his first song, “Relapse”, and has garnered over 4 million on demand streams and his current single, “Project”, also released without industry hype on May 27, debuted at #1 on the iTunes country chart and #4 all genres as well as #1 on the Billboard Country Digital song sales, #4 Billboard all genre chart, and #46 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Project” has over 5 million on demand streams in just the first 3 weeks.
It’s clear that Chase McDaniel blends old and new to deliver something incredibly unique and listeners can’t get enough of it! |

Overall, lead singer Mike Eli found himself writing more than 150 songs in the time since the GRAMMY-nominated band released THIS IS ELI YOUNG BAND: GREATEST HITS in 2019. On LOVE TALKING, he joins forces with Nashville stalwarts Jimmy Robbins, Laura Veltz, Josh Osborne, Jon Nite and more. Also finding a home on the album is the sentimental “Lucky For Me” and tongue-in-cheek “Break Up In A Bar.”
“We really wanted to find the positivity in what we got out of the last two years, so that was one of the main goals for this album,” notes Eli. “There was a lot of unknown that was written into some of the music we created during that time, but we all lived it so deeply; we wanted to offer something uplifting with our music.”
Eli founded the band with guitarist James Young, bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson at the University of North Texas in 2000, steadily building a grassroots fanbase that propelled four No. 1 singles and gave the band an edgy, romantically-charged identity (4X PLATINUM “Crazy Girl,” 2X PLATINUM “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and PLATINUM “Love Ain’t” and “Drunk Last Night “).
The trailblazing group has come a long way since with a dynamic career thus far producing Billboard's No. 1 Country Song of the Year and ACM Award for Song of the Year with “Crazy Girl,” plus racking up over 2 billion streams to earn Pandora Billionaire status. Multiple CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Award nominations along with over 3 billion streams of their career catalogue offer an undeniable of EYB’s unique connection with fans. Even through sonic evolutions and changes to the Country industry, their obsessive following has continued to grow.
What they’re good at has always been the same – organic, live-show focused Country dripping with authenticity and perfected in sold-out clubs, amphitheaters and stadiums coast-to-coast. Confident in their soulful, hearts-on-fire brand of Country, the title track of their forthcoming album is impacting Country radio and playlists now as they head out on a 51-city tour of the same name. EYB has also shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Chris Young, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band, plus performed on national television shows such as TODAY, Conan, Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and FOX & Friends.
"We've passed the 20-year mark as a band. And there's something about that which makes you reflect on everything that we've already done. And now, it feels like we are entering a new chapter. This new music feels full of energy and full of life," Eli recently shared with People.com.
“We still look at each other as college buddies – not business partners,” says Young. “We get to share our lives with each other and we’ve done some really cool stuff, and our music has been the greatest byproduct of that.” |

A native of Terrell, Texas, Shane Smith made music a full-time pursuit after moving to Austin. A passionate musician and songwriter, Shane soon connected with Bennett Brown, along with other musicians many of whom now make up The Saints. That group includes Bennett on fiddle, Dustin Schaefer on lead guitar, Chase Satterwhite on bass, and Zach Stover on drums.
With a reputation as a high-energy live act with stunning four-part harmonies, Smith follows in the footsteps of such Lone Star songsmiths as Chris Stapleton, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Hayes Carll, and Ryan Bingham. Their first album, Coast, was released in 2013, and two years later came Geronimo, followed by Hail Mary in 2019.
“I don’t like just throwing stuff out there. If I’m going to be singing about something every night, I try to make it personal, make it something I can really relate to,” says Smith, the band’s lyricist and primary songwriter. “I like to sing with conviction, an honest conviction.”
It’s with this passion, timing and intention that Shane offers up his newest studio recordings, “Hummingbird" & "Fire In the Ocean". You may have heard about Shane Smith & The Saints from a friend who saw their amazing live show, or from a playlist on your favorite streaming service. Perhaps you heard the cast of Yellowstone shout them out in Season Four or saw the band play live on the Season Five premiere. Or maybe you’re just hearing of them now. Whatever the case may be, we hope you enjoy these new songs!
Keep checking back, there's lots more music on the horizon. |

Breathing fresh Rocky Mountain air into the Nashville music scene, Ian Munsick is pioneering a new brand of country. The Wyoming-born singer / songwriter’s upbringing was a mix of working the ranch and working crowds. Under the tutelage of their fiddle-playing father, Munsick and his two older brothers grew up playing everything from bluegrass to The Beatles. Captivated by traditional lyrical truth and the modern soundscape, Munsick followed his ear to Music City.
After establishing a robust touring career as an independent artist, he signed a major label record deal with Warner Music Nashville in 2020. Since then, he has accumulated more than 250 million global streams as well as accolades from Spotify (“Hot Country Artist to Watch”), MusicRow magazine (“Next Big Thing”) and more. His debut album Coyote Cry features his mile-high tenor underscoring self-penned songs that conjure “equal parts epic adventure and down-to-earth wisdom” (American Songwriter). It marks the dawn of western pop-laced country, pulling a thread straight from Chris LeDoux through Post Malone. Imagery-soaked ode to the west “Long Haul” earned Munsick his second iHeartRadio Rocky Mountain Country Music Award for Song of the Year. The recent releases of “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson) and “More Than Me” are ushering in the next chapter of his musical saga... and fans are finding that, with Ian Munsick, western country is reborn. |

Warren Zeiders was just 22 years old when he signed his first recording contract with Warner Records’ Los Angeles home office. At that point, fresh out of school, the second song he’s ever written called “Ride The Lightening” had seemingly exploded overnight into the social conciseness of young country music fans. After a series of live covers, “Ride The Lightening” caught fire and ignited a community of true believers before he’d ever toured or played outside his hometown of Hershey, PA. Hundreds of TikTok posts turned into thousands and then millions. Zeiders’ distinctive, high energy country music is powered by a steady supply of youthful grit, honesty, muscle, and then, there’s that voice; a world-weary, lived-in, honeyed growl that belie his young years. Hailing from central Pennsylvania, the now 23-year-old singer/songwriter delivers outlaw sermons with his unmistakable authenticity. His music is suited more to the vast wilderness of his home state than the bright lights of the big city injecting a healthy dose of Heartland ethos into his stories of real life and the pitfalls of temptation. He walks a fine line, but it’s that space he lives in – between lonesome outsider and magnetic performer – that helps him relate to listeners from all walks of life through songs fueled by an unshakeable soul-searching. His original solo acoustic version of “Ride The Lightning” became an instant hit with fans that has resonated around the world. Since then, Zeiders has released a string of rockin’ but heartfelt tracks on his own 717 Tapes platform along with “Dark Night,” “Burn It Down,” “Wild Horse,” “Up To No Good” and the raucous “One Hell of an Angel” that led People Magazine to surmise “Warren Zeiders is a wild horse who sings about the truth.” Following a pair of well-received EP’s, Zeiders hit the road for this first-ever tour with all dates selling out in under 72 hours. To date, Warren Zeiders has amassed over 790 million TikTok views globally, in excess of 492 million audio streams and well over 39 million video plays on the heels of his recently released debut album 717 Tapes: The Album, this past September. The album gathers up his 717 Tapes releases along with a handful of new tracks. Zeiders has hit the road again, this time with a full band selling out every show and he moves into larger venues to accommodate his ever-growing legion of fans. This fall, Zeiders will release a brand new track written and recorded with Los Angeles-based hip hop artist Sueco, called “Ride It Hard, ” due for release October 28, on Warner Records. Look for fresh US tour dates to be announced soon. |

Three chords and the truth.
It’s country music’s famous, straight-to-the-bone foundation, and the core of countess iconic hits. But as a new generation of artists emerge, it can sometimes feel like a relic. … Then there’s Columbia Nashville’s Kameron Marlowe.
For him, three chords and the truth isn’t just a motto, it’s the only way he knows to make music. Fusing steel-toed toughness with a visceral approach to songwriting, it’s the truth itself that guides his hard-to-pin-down mix. And with his debut album, We Were Cowboys, he confronts it head on.
“This is me and this is what I wanna show the world,” Marlowe explains. “I've really tried to fight for this record in a way that it doesn't sound like everybody else. … Basically, I tried to make it my own.”
About two years in the making, the project marks a creative arrival for the Kannapolis, North Carolina native. Wielding a high-voltage vocal and a country style to match, Marlowe’s sound is built around edgy electric twang, shades of gritty rock and a touch of bluesy tenderness, living comfortably in the darker corners of the honky tonk.
With a self-made background, Marlowe grew up singing and started a high-school band, inspired by everything from ‘70s and ‘80s country to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ray Charles and Kings of Leon. A family-first kind of guy with a strong connection to his grandparents, the youngster grew to appreciate things that last, and by soaking up the music of his elders along with current hits, created a unique vocal mix that evident early on: Classic sincerity and modern swagger.
He carried on singing for fun in college, but he left school after one semester to help support his family after his mother was injured. The young talent took a desk job selling car parts for General Motors instead but still shared performance videos via social media. This is where he was discovered by a producer for The Voice – singing “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton - and landed a coveted spot directly in the show’s live auditions.
Though his stint on The Voice was short-lived, Marlowe returned to his love of songwriting and jumped into his music headfirst after the end of a long-term relationship.
“I was 19 years old and head over heels for this girl,” he explains. “So I got a ring, I had a house I was looking at, and I was just super pumped. It was like, ‘This is where life starts for me.’”
As it turns out, he was right about that. Two weeks before Marlowe was planning to propose, his girlfriend abruptly broke off the relationship, and in frustration Marlowe turned back to his first love. Writing the first pieces of what became “Giving You Up” – a raw, razor sharp ballad whose deep wounds were overcome by a powerful sense of self-respect – the track laid Marlowe’s broken heart bare for the first time and sent him down a new path.
Soon the young singer-songwriter was making the seven-hour drive to Nashville three times a week, joining random co-writes and always sharing his solo-penned “Giving You Up” with the group. He was told over and over it needed work, yet Marlowe stuck to his guns. He knew above all, the song was true.
“A lot of writers were like, ‘Man, it's good – but it's not great,’” he recalls. “That took the wind outta my sails a little bit, but then I ended up putting it out, and it became my first Gold single.”
“Giving You Up” was released independently in 2019, racking up millions of streams. Meanwhile Marlowe continued traveling back and forth between Nashville and North Carolina – booking Broadway gigs at Ole Red and once he didn’t even have gas money to make it to, unless the venue could give him an advance. They knew his voice was more than worth the investment, and the up-and-comer usually left with a pocket full of tips. “Giving You Up” ultimately landed him an artist deal with Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Nashville and a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing.
Marlowe kept writing and released a self-titled EP in 2020, sending the torchy “Burn ‘Em All” into Billboard’s Hot Country Top 40 and opening massive shows for Brad Paisley, Riley Green, Morgan Wallen and more. Now the story continues, with his full-length album debut putting him fully in the spotlight – and this time he’s not looking for anyone’s approval.
Produced by ACM/CMA winner Dann Huff and GRAMMY-nominated Brad Hill (“Giving You Up,” “Burn ‘Em All”), We Were Cowboys features a massive, 16-song track list and a bold, take-me-as-I-come spirit. Marlowe had a hand in writing 10 of those tracks, and says he was committed to holding nothing back.
“It’s not in a cocky way,” he cautions. “It’s more like I want to be true to myself.”
Right from the top, his approach hits home. “We Were Cowboys” was co-written with Tyler Farr and Wyatt McCubbin on a last-minute trip to Wyoming and ended up capturing Marlowe’s artistic essence. A nostalgic tribute to childhood with a Western, epic feel, rough-riding vocals and vivid, lived-in details, the track became the jumping off point of the whole album.
“It felt special when we wrote it, and I haven’t really had a song that’s been that special to me since ‘Giving You Up,’” he says. “It really is my story. The ‘93 Silverado, the corduroy couch and John Wayne movies. It's all a part of me.”
The same is true of tracks like “Country Boy’s Prayer,” which turns the bench seat of that Silverado into a church pew. And with the gravel-road rocker “This Old Town,” Marlowe finds the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it beauty of his rural upbringing – rootsy and refreshing with an upbeat accordion-and-fiddle melody.
Meanwhile, romantic anthems like the soul-stinging “Ain’t Enough Whiskey” rekindle the pain of “Giving You Up,” and the hot-blooded “Girl On Fire” finds love flaming up in a summer fling. The blues rocker “Money Ain’t $hit” knows the value of straight talk and a strong character – values with playfully potency on “Grandma’s Got a Garden (for G’maw Jan)” – and the angelic “Steady Heart” kneels before a woman’s amazing grace.
It’s all true to Marlowe’s world, and in typical fashion, it was even recorded with blunt honesty. Cutting vocals in live takes, Marlowe would simply sing the whole song a few times through, and then pick his favorite version. Grabbing quick, in-the-moment takes, the approach highlighted the best of Marlowe’s talent and kept all the all-natural character of his voice intact, but it’s not as easy as it sounds.
It’s a music-making style that offers no place to hide – and as a result, almost no one does it anymore, especially on a debut album. But then again, Kameron Marlowe is no typical artist.
“We wanted to keep it organic and real and a little bit looser,” he explains. “What it came down to is not wanting to sound like any other record, and I hope people get to know me out of this.” |

Tapped by Garden & Gun as an artist “shaping up to be one of country music’s most prolific torchbearers,” a “must-see live performer” by Rolling Stone, and a “force to be reckoned with” by CMT, Charley Crockett crafts his singular “Gulf & Western” sound — described as “very 21st century and very vintage” by NPR Music — by synthesizing country, blues, soul, Cajun, R&B and other pieces of American Roots music. And when his voice comes out of your speakers, there is no confusing him for any other artist. As the Wall Street Journal writes, “Mr. Crockett’s unique vocal style is one third Ernest Tubb honky-tonk with clipped-word diction, one third Bill Withers low-key, soulful crooning, and one third jazzy French Quarter second-line swagger.”
In 2022 Charley Crockett brought The Man From Waco tour to a long list of sold-out venues across the U.S and sold out his European tour in the same year. Crockett also made waves throughout the year with a series of noteworthy media appearances including CBS Mornings, CBS “Saturday Sessions” and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Crockett’s album The Man From Waco, released in fall of 2022 via Son of Davy/Thirty Tigers, was #1 for 10 weeks on the Americana Albums chart, reached over 18M streams, and notched the #2 spot on Rolling Stone’s Best Country and Americana Albums of 2022. His song “I’m Just A Clown” from the same album was Top 10 on the Mediabase AAA chart for 5 weeks and spent 12 weeks at #1 on the Americana Singles chart.
Crockett wrote or co-wrote all 14 songs on the album, and in many ways The Man From Waco is the purest distillation of his artistry to date. What started as a demo session with producer Bruce Robison at Robison’s studio The Bunker outside Austin, TX turned into the first album Crockett has ever made with his band The Blue Drifters backing him from start to finish. Mostly first takes with only a handful of overdubs, The Man From Waco was Crockett’s refinement of his “Gulf & Western” sound and continues to captivate an ever-growing legion of fans.
“I just wanted an honest partnership: do it at your place, live to tape, everybody in the room,” Crockett says of the recording experience, and Robison was happy to accommodate. “The magic is in the performances on that tape. That’s what Bruce wanted to do, that’s what I wanted to do. When we were done, I said ‘these are masters, not demos.’”
2023 is already lighting up for Crockett, who is set to appear on stages across the country this year in both headline shows and alongside fellow artists like Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton and more. With an aggressive schedule already on the calendar for the rest of the year, Crockett is slated to head overseas for his first- ever headlining tour in Australia in March, make his debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk, and join the lineups of major festivals and events throughout the year including Bonnaroo, Railbird, NASCAR Chicago, and Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday —in addition to releasing and creating new music throughout the year, including the new-to-radio single, “Trinity River.” |

Louisiana Music Homecoming II - The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame |

“Louisiana Music Homecoming II," a four-hour benefit concert for The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame (LMHOF) featuring a long list of prominent Louisiana music greats, is taking shape for Thursday, November 16th at the famous Texas Club in Baton Rouge, organizers have announced.
“If you think of a Farm Aid type benefit celebrating and promoting the broad scope of Louisiana music then you have an idea of what this will be like,” says LMHOF Executive Director Mike Shepherd.
Citing the mission "Preserving Louisiana's greatest renewable natural resource," Shepherd
says the program will feature several theme music sets highlighting rock, country, New Orleans R&B, Swamp Pop and the sounds of Acadiana as the backdrop of inductions. The show will feature cameo performances by current LMHOF members, artists who will be inducted during the event, plus friends and potential future honorees. The nonprofit Louisiana Music Hall of Fame is recognized by the State of Louisiana as its official music honors and recognition organization.
Performers will include current or pending LMHOF members: Laine Hardy, Chase Tyler, Boogie Long, Gregg Martinez, Eddie Smith, Debbie Traylor, Tareva Henderson, Joey Decker, Bryan Romano and Reuben Martinez – and the list is growing. “You just never know when something like this gets
rolling. My phone won’t stop ringing,” Shepherd adds.
Confirmed Louisiana honorees of note include Faron Young, King Floyd, Tony Joe White, Barbara George, Dr. Isaac Greggs, Alvin Batiste and Brenton Wood. Perhaps the most famous “unknown” inductee is veteran saxophonist Plas Johnson, who recorded the title song for The Pink Panther. Perhaps the most surprising inductee is Keith Thibodeaux, better known as “Little Ricky,” the drum playing son in the iconic TV series I Love Lucy.
One set of inductees certainly raises eyebrows- artists who got their first big break or were deeply influenced by their early experience in Louisiana. These include Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Ray Charles, plus Wolfman Jack and George Carlin, who both had their start as radio deejays in the Bayou State. “Make no mistake, Louisiana made a deep impression on these music greats,” Shepherd notes.
During set changes Shepherd says there will be "unplugged" performances, short video presentations and brief speakers on behalf of LMHOF and Louisiana music. “There won’t be long breaks with dead air, I promise you,” he noted.
Shepherd believes a music show induction format is far superior to some other events that feel more like stuffy awards dinners. “The artists really appreciate being recognized in the setting where they earned their stars,” Shepherd explains. “There’s also a camaraderie among the artists that shows like this bring together. Over the years we’ve had many of our honorees and supporters offer to come perform on behalf of The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, so the “homecoming” concept came from that outpouring of support,” he adds.
Proceeds from the program will be devoted to continuing the LMHOF mission and making more inductions possible. Shepherd reverently says it’s special that the artists themselves get involved with support. "This is an opportunity for them to participate and reconnect with old friends while helping us realize our goals to create more physical exhibits and expand programs to educate and to promote the revival of our state’s music industry. Now, we need the people to come out and show their appreciation to advance our mission.”
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and are now available through TicketMaster and at the door at Texas Club, located at 456 N. Donmoor Ave. in Baton Rouge. Shepherd adds that longtime owners Mark and Mike Rogers will also be inducted as music industry leaders who have supported many rising talents from the state.

Easton Corbin has been gracing stages with his memorable baritone and unique blend of traditional and modern country music for more than a decade. The Florida native, who boasts two No. 1 singles with “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” embarks on a new musical chapter with his recent signing to Stone Country Records. Corbin teams with industry veterans Benny Brown, Paul Brown and Jason Sellers as the label’s flagship artist.
Corbin says he and Music Row mainstay Benny Brown initially met and bonded over their mutual love of traditional country music. No stranger to the writing room himself, Corbin has penned songs with Sellers ahead of signing with the independent label. The singer, who has spent several years as an independent artist following nearly a decade with Mercury Nashville, says he’s in a great position being Stone Country’s flagship artist.
“They let me do what I want to do and let me be me, which is very important,” the singer says.
Corbin’s neotraditional sound shined on his debut label single “I Can’t Decide,” co-written by Corbin with producer Wade Kirby and esteemed writers Ashley Gorley and Rhett Akins. The soaring pedal steel combined with a driving beat and plucked guitar rhythms allows Corbin’s warm baritone to further accentuate the up-tempo song.
The Florida native continues to write with longtime producer Carson Chamberlain as well as Kirby, Shane Minor, Adam Craig and Wyatt McCubbin, who he penned the romantic wedding ode and current radio single “Marry That Girl” with. Corbin says the past three years have allowed him to focus more seriously on writing music and finding the message he wants to convey to listeners on his forthcoming project.
“It’s about being authentic and that’s what I always focus on when I write or record,” he says. “I keep one foot in traditional and one foot in the modern and marry those two. That’s really been my motto through the years.”
And he’s had a successful time doing so. Throughout his career, Corbin has amassed seven top 10 singles and three American Country Awards. Named Billboard’s 2010 Top New Country Artist, Corbin has never shied away from his traditional roots with Your Big Sky complimenting his “unapologetic and unwavering traditional country sound.” His self-titled debut album was named Country Breakthrough Album of the Year by iTunes Rewind Best of 2010 while American Songwriter has complimented the singer’s “warm, smooth-as-gravy-southern drawl.”
Along the way, Corbin hasn’t forgotten his roots. The young boy who grew up listening to Merle Haggard and George Jones with his grandparents remembers where he came from.
“I do love traditional country music,” he says. “That sound is what drew me to country music as a genre. One of my very first records was a Merle Haggard album when I was a kid. The way he delivered a song, the emotion in his songwriting and in his voice, he was just the whole package.”
Corbin most recently released his album Let’s Do Country Right - his first in eight years. The 14-song feat is a collection of new, yet-to-be-heard tunes, as well as previously released songs, like Corbin’s current radio single and streaming hit “Marry That Girl.” Since releasing with DSPs, the romantic ode has organically amassed an impressive 58 million+ streams collectively, and was featured on hit FOX reboot Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer.
On radio impact, it was the No. 2 most added song by country stations, and was featured in a live performance by top daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show, as well as fan-favorite syndicated iHeart radio show The Bobby Bones Show. Laced with Corbin’s warmly familiar baritone vocals, and layered with the true-to-his-roots production fans and radio love, the record offers something for everyone.
“The record is a good mixture of that up-tempo and midtempo songs along with a few ballads here and there,” he says of Let’s Do Country Right.

Randall King follows
One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty, both gritty and graceful at the same time.
Now produced by traditional torchbearers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi), King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream with his major label debut album Shot Glass. The 11-song collection, seven of which co-written by King, centers around a night out at a bar, with each track representing a different point of view of those in the room. With over 120+ million career streams to his name, the Pandora and Country Now 2022 Country Artist to Watch is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself. |

Flatland Cavalry follows
Flatland Cavalry is breaking out into a gallop. After years of hot trotting across their native Texas, the country outfit is primed for a breakout with the release of their third full-length album, the sonically sprawling and wistfully written Welcome to Countryland.
The Texas sextet–bandleader and chief lyricist Cleto Cordero, guitarist Reid Dillon, bassist Jonathan Saenz, drummer Jason Albers, fiddle player Wesley Hall, and recent newcomer utility instrumentalist Adam Gallegos–continue to embrace their trademark sound while further pushing into the wild unknown. When it was time to embark on recording a new album, resting on their laurels was simply out of the realm of possibilities.
After the release of 2019’s critically-acclaimed Homeland Insecurity and their 2016 full-length debut Humble Folks, they’ve been on a healthy trajectory rising through the country ranks. After years of working with Lubbock stalwart Scott Faris in the friendly confines of Amusement Park Studios, Flatland decided a change of scenery was necessary. Despite some hesitation and a mix of emotions, they instantly knew recording at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studio A with rising producer Jake Gear was the right move.
“With our last two projects, we knew that room and setup. There’s comfort in working with Scott,” says Albers. “I think it was important to try and further expand with this album. Sonically, this album is definitely something bigger.” “I think everyone kind of experienced this bit of nervousness going from Scott’s studio to Sound Emporium,” adds Dillon. “That first day, everyone was a little fidgety and shy. You eventually fall into this comfort zone.
While the roster of collaborative confidants and colleagues (Spencer Cullum, Jim Hoke, Billy Justineau, Hailey Whitters, and Kaitlin Butts) has continued to expand with Flatland’s sound stride for stride, Countryland isn’t a cut and paste effort with Nashville studio musicians.
Formed in 2014 while attending Texas Tech University, Cordero and company made their presence felt within the Hub City’s songwriting circles and dancehall circuits. Banking on Cordero’s earnest pen and the band’s blend of country instrumentation, toe-tapping grooves, and earworm choruses, Flatland quickly became a regional sensation. |

"Le Boss" High-energy showman Wayne Toups has long been dubbed “The Cajun Springsteen,” and now holds the title of “Grammy Award Winner
The Grammy Award caps a wave of career highs for Wayne Toups. In 2009, he earned an Album-of-the-Year award from Offbeat magazine. In 2010, he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. In 2011, he entered both the Gulf Coast Hall of Fame and the Cajun French Music Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame
This year will also mark his continued activism in the Coastal Vision Foundation, the organization dedicated to restoring America’s eroding ocean coastlines. “We are losing 2,400 acres a year in Louisiana, alone,” says Toups. Wayne also is proudly involved with Sky High for Kids, an organization fighting to end pediatric cancer.
Always in demand for session work in his native Louisiana and beyond, Wayne Toups has also been hired to back the British pop artist Thomas Dolby as well as many of the stars of Nashville, including Alan Jackson (“Little Bitty”), Clay Walker (“Live, Laugh, Love”), Mark Chesnutt (“It Sure Is Monday” and “Gonna Get a Life”), Sammy Kershaw, George Jones, Garth Brooks, Ty England and Mark Wills, to name a few.
Toups says “We’ll be doing more than 100 shows this year. I’ve surrounded myself with some really good players, the band is better than ever.” |

Trey Lewis follows
People call Trey Lewis a troublemaker – and if the singer songwriter’s honest, that’s mostly fair. With a stage presence built on equal parts intensity and integrity (and a knack for saying the quiet parts out loud), he’s an artist who boldly breaks country’s unspoken rules, and has often worn his title like a badge of honor. The world needs people who shake things up, after all.
Then came 2020’s “Dicked Down in Dallas,” and the reputation grew.
Full of take-no-shit honesty and speaking the colorful language of everyday fans, the track found Lewis giving country’s age-old cheating theme a shot of modern adrenaline, and it definitely stirred up some trouble. Hitting Number One on iTunes and gathering more than 100 million streams, it introduced Lewis as the straight-talking, salt-of-the-earth hero he is – a career-launching hit followed by the rowdy realism of “Single Again,” as Lewis kept the story going for another iTunes Number One.
But here’s the thing – there was always more to his music. And now he’s bringing it out.
Teamed with River House Artists/Sony Music Publishing for his full-length Nashville debut, this perennial underdog and relentless road warrior is getting real, releasing a set fittingly titled Trouble Maker. |

Frank Foster embodies musical independence at its highest level.
To follow that up, in the late summer of 2012, he released his second album “Red Wings and Six Strings” which debuted at #30 on the Billboard Country Charts and #1 on Billboard’s South Central U.S. Heat Seeker’s chart. Foster’s next five albums also all debuted on the Billboard Country Charts. Southern Soul was released in 2013 debuting at #11. Rhythm and Whiskey was released in 2014 debuted at #4. His early 2016 release, Boots On The Ground, debuted at #7. Later in 2016, he released Good Country Music, which debuted at #13. In 2018, he released his seventh album, ’Til I’m Gone, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Album Sales Charts giving Foster his highest mark yet. He’s a singer, a songwriter and his own boss. He refuses to let anyone water down his kind of country music. If he lives it, he writes it; if he writes it, he sings it; if he sings it, he believes it. Frank Foster … a true original. |

Thunderstruck: America’s AC/DC tribute gives fans so much more than the sound of AC/DC, they truly capture the high voltage energy and experience. For fans, it's about a sense of familiarity, and it's about a feeling that snatches up listeners and takes over. It's about a contagious kind of power and electricity that few AC/DC tribute bands can provide!
From Tyler Melen's ridiculously non-stop on-stage performance replicating the Angus Young of the 70's and 80's, to Bobby Lee Stamper's versatile vocals mimicking both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson ranges, to the incredible rhythm section made up of Kevin Feller on rhythm guitar, Corey Baetz on drums, and Chris Jones on bass, Thunderstruck gives a complete and consistently authentic live show as true to the spirit of AC/DC that you can possibly get!
Thunderstruck: America's AC/DC tribute has performed tribute shows throughout the nation, with a consistent record of sold out shows from coast-to-coast. Thunderstruck, officially established in 2015 (but existing in other variations for several years prior), has continued to grow its fan base by building and maintaining relationships with some of the nation's biggest promoters and venues, such as Live Nation and the House of Blues, as well as by performing at major music festivals including the Pensacola Tribute Fest and Parr Fest, in addition to live stream performances for major brands such as Number Juan Tequila and Monsters of Rock.
Thunderstruck is also the only AC/DC tribute band in the United States to have a major national brand partnership, which is with Number Juan Tequila, owned and operated by Alex Reymundo (Rednexican, Latin Kings of Comedy), and Ron White (Blue Collar Comedy, Horrible Bosses, Comedy Central Presents). |

At just 24 years old, Louisiana native singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist, Payton Smith, has a lot to celebrate. Smith began releasing music in 2019; quickly amassing over 50 million streams on his debut single, “Like I Knew You Would”. Known for not only high-energy guitar slinging and smooth vocals, the CMT 2021 Listen Up artist also composed and played every string instrument on each track of his debut project.
As Taste of Country noted his “raw talent, authenticity and strong work ethic are bound to bring him country music success for many, many years” as one of 2021’s Hottest Country Artists Under 25. Music Row called Smith the 2021 Next Big Thing, while “Like I Knew You Would” charted as the number 7 song of the year on Spotify’s Hot Country.
Payton Smith signed with Combustion Masters in late 2022, releasing “Missed The Boat” in early 2023, marking a new era of music, being produced by Combustion’s Chris Farren. Smith’s debut album, What Colors Your Wild, was released on March 19th, with playlisting features on Apple’s New In County, Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Tidal’s Country Waves, Rising: Country and Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country, gaining 3 million streams.
Payton recently announced his headlining Up From Here Tour, kicking off in April with support from Dipper and Faren Rachels. Smith is also on the road supporting Conner Smith, George Birge and Kolby Cooper. Payton's new project, 'Up From Here', will be released April 5, 2024, featuring three new tracks! |

Since the band’s formation as college classmates 20 years ago, the Associated Press has celebrated EYB as “a smart, relevant antidote” to overdone clichés in Country music. The band has amassed 14 Billboard charting singles, including four No. 1 hits via 4x Platinum “Crazy Girl” and 3x Platinum “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” plus 2x Platinum “Love Ain’t” and Platinum “Drunk Last Night,” while also earning an ACM Award for Song of the Year as well as multiple GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Award nominations.
The musical band of brothers– Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson– play their own instruments, write their own songs and cling fast to their Texas roots. While selling out venues from coast-to-coast as strong headliners, EYB has also shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Chris Young, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band. Ty Myers is a young singer-songwriter based in Dripping Springs, TX; currently being managed and developed by Narvel Blackstock and Starstruck Entertainment in Nashville, TN.
Ty grew up just west of Austin as the 6th-generation raised on the family cattle ranch. He has been singing since he could walk and picked up the guitar when he started writing songs at 8 years old. When he wasn't playing football, baseball, hunting or fishing he was spending all his free time writing or playing shows with his father. Ty finds inspiration from many genres from country to blues and soul. His voice has a unique richness that connects listeners to the lyrics, and his stage presence, songwriting ability, and guitar playing far exceeds his young age. In March 2023, Myers released his first independent song, “Tie That Binds.” By June, it was getting massive attention by Nashville, LA & New York alike and has accumulated over 6M streams to date. The 2nd release, “Drinkin’ Alone,” has surpassed with over 10M streams. Since, he has released four additional originals, including a cover of George Strait’s hit from 1981, “Down And Out.” With over 20M cumulative streams, Ty’s song catalog continues to rapidly grow as he has been making trips to Nashville to co-write with some of the biggest songwriters. He’s continuing to play around the Texas area, where his live shows have become highly attended, reaching max capacity for many. This past fall, he completed a college tour circuit around Texas and Oklahoma, and has opened for artists such as Aaron Watson and Dwight Yoakam and will be opening for Willie Nelson this spring.
Fans can expect more music to be released in the coming months. Ty’s future is bright and he is humbled by the quick take off. |

A West Texas native and self-described “old soul," Warner Music Nashville's Randall King has never wavered in his honky-tonk allegiance – in fact, he’s worn it like a badge of honor, growing with pride into a leading voice for today’s traditional country. Amassing over 300 Million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror,” he’s kept the twang alive in country’s mainstream while also earning acclaim through deeply personal EPs like 2020’s Leanna, and his 2022 major label album debut, Shot Glass – which landed on both Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far). Schooled on icons like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson, but inspired by modern masters like Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan, King first built an independent, grass-roots following on the strength of his electrifying live shows – each one a harrowing mix of rowdy roughnecking, romantic tenderness and breathtaking emotion – never asking for permission to explore his creative vision.
He has since gone on to headline all across the U.S., the U.K. and Europe, where he continues to play nearly 150 shows a year and hone his craft where it matters most. Named a Country Artist to Watch by everyone from Pandora and Country Now to Music Mayhem Magazine, his sophomore major label album Into the Neon, available now, takes that craft to the next level, as King’s neo-traditional roots meet the blood-pumping rhythms and sharp, arena-sized grooves of Y2K-era country and beyond. Co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, and featuring 18 tracks, punchy sounds exist side-by-side with timeless swagger, further blurring the line between yesteryear and today – even as King renews his forever-country vows. |

Gavin Adcock is a 25-year-old Georgia native-born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family cattle farm and dreamed of riding bulls in the PBR.
He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn’t until the Spring of 2021, when he tore up his knee playing football, that he used his time healing to record and release his first original single.
Since then, he has put all focus into his music and has released multiple singles that now have amassed more than hundreds of millions of streams collectively.
His recent release, “A Cigarette”, crossed the 30 million streams mark in just a few short months.
As he continues to write and record new music, he is hitting the road touring throughout 2024 with sold-out headline dates and multiple major festival plays. |

Kameron Marlowe Bio:
“When I was thinking about this project, I really wanted to say something beyond break-up songs and love songs,” says Kameron Marlowe. “I wanted to throw life songs in there as well. These are all real things that I've gone through, and there's a lot of loss, there's a lot of pain, there's a lot of love. It really tells the story of these past two years.”
One of Nashville’s most exciting up-and-coming voices, Marlowe has indeed been through some changes recently, from adapting to a new life on the road to breaking through with the Platinum-certified single “Giving You Up” and touring alongside some of country music’s biggest stars. That journey is reflected in the sixteen songs of his sophomore album, Keepin’ the Lights On, from the introspection of “On My Way Out” to the romantic turmoil of “Strangers.”
“I grew a lot mentally,” says Marlowe of the album’s emotional range. “I had a lot of hard stuff on my plate and I had to learn to be a little stronger and not take things so personally all the time. I learned how to fall back in love—getting engaged and fixin’ to get married—after going through a situation I wrote about on the last record. I've lived a lot of life in the past few years that really opened my mind to some new ideas.”
The scope and maturity of the album establish Marlowe as a true force in today’s country music—a triple-threat singer, songwriter, and performer blazing his own path, marked by his distinctively soulful and resonant vocals. And it hasn’t taken him long to find a following, having already racked up almost 900 million career global streams.
Born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Marlowe grew up singing in church and formed a band in high school. After leaving college to help support his family, he began uploading performances online and started gaining traction. He subsequently moved to Nashville and released "Giving You Up" independently; when the song—written by himself after his girlfriend broke up with him, right before he was planning on proposing—went viral, Marlowe landed management and songwriting deals and eventually signed with Sony Music Nashville.
He released several more singles and, in 2022, put out his acclaimed debut album We Were Cowboys, which included the Gold-certified tracks “Burn ‘Em All” and “Girl On Fire.” Named to CMT’s 2023 Listen Up class and Opry’s NextStage program, Marlowe was also highlighted as “One to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora and Spotify.
His powerful vocals made an immediate impression, but Marlowe wasn’t satisfied with his songwriting. “I felt like some of my songs in the past were surface level as I was still growing in my comfort and confidence around songwriting and sharing my story,” he says. “But on this, it was time to dig deeper. I can write a break-up song 573 different ways, but if it's saying the same thing, to me it's the same song.”
He points to the song “Never Really Know” as a turning point in the direction of the new album. “That song fired me up so much, because it was so personal and so special, and something that I hadn't written before,” he says. “That really started shaping this album to be what it was. It’s almost a folky kind of production, which really made the lyric shine and made you want to keep listening to the story—that was a challenging thing to do, but probably the most rewarding once we finally got it right.”
Keepin’ the Lights On was produced by Dann Huff, who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Bon Jovi, among countless others. “Dann is a mastermind,” says Marlowe. “Sometimes we only worked on one song a day—we wanted to make sure that they all got the attention that they deserved, and we really took our time with the sounds and the overdubs and the things that bring the songs to life.”
Huff was so taken with Marlowe’s commanding voice that he had the singer cut most of his parts live. “Even if I went back and tried to re-track it,” says Marlowe, “he was always like, ‘Nah, when you're in the moment of the song being created, there's a different emotion level there.’ With his encouragement, I really went all out and made sure that I went for those high notes to show my range. It’s something I'm really proud of on this album.”
Marlowe learned from the success of “Giving You Up,” but maybe not the lessons you expect. “That song launched my whole career,” he says. “I don't know where I would be without it, even though I had to go through some of the darkest times in my life to get that song. But having so many people reach out and be like, ‘Man, you don't know what that song did, how it got me through a hard time’—for me, that means more than the plaque on the wall. I feel like I really connected with people and hit a chord with them, to the point where they felt like that song was also a part of their story.”
With the song “Quit You,” he makes an explicit connection between his first hit and his current state of mind. “The hook is ‘I'm giving you up, just like I did them Marlboro Lights/And I’m giving you up the same way I did the whiskey on ice,’” he recites. “I wanted to start ‘Quit You’ by rehashing that, because ‘Quit You’ is the ending chapter of that book for me. I finally found the love that I was looking for. People get hopeless about relationships and stuff like that, and I was that way, too—I thought I was hopeless, but then my fiancée came along, so I wanted to make sure that I included that piece by using those same lines.”
Elsewhere on Keepin’ the Lights On, “I Can Run” is a celebration of rebuilding your sense of self; “I had some low spots. and I had to find myself again, and it felt like I lived every word to that song,” Marlowe says. “911,” meanwhile, is a ‘90s country-style honky-tonk banger. “I don’t go to bars that much anymore,” he says, “but it takes me back to when I was younger and first moved to town and I loved going downtown and having a ball.”
As his profile has grown, Marlowe has shared stages with the likes of Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Riley Green and Lainey Wilson. “Everyone I've toured with is an incredible artist,” he says, “and I try to take a piece from each person that we go out with.”
Clearly, he has studied well—he played over 100 shows in 2023 and graduated to more than 30 headlining dates, which extended into 2024 owing to demand. Sharing the stage with the same band he’s had since he was 14, he’s known for delivering high impact performances, with all the energy of a real rock show.
To Kameron Marlowe, if his second album is a statement of purpose, the culmination comes with the title track. “My family was never rich, we've always just made it by,” he says. “And for the first time ever, I saw my dad kind of be humbled when he lost his job of almost 20 years working in a magnet factory. He came to me and was like, ‘Man, I really don't know how I'm gonna keep the lights on.’ This music industry is so hard, and it can mentally drain you and screw you up, but when I started my career, I made a promise to myself that as hard as it would get, I would always try and tell the truth and do this the right way versus just chasing whatever’s working at the time. This song represents that for me and that's why it had to be the album title.”
“If I can continue to be this personal in my writing, I feel like it will connect to people in a deeper way,” he adds. “That's all I want to do. And when you go deeper with yourself, you can connect deeper with other people.”

Tucker Wetmore Bio
“I refuse to be put in a box,” says Tucker Wetmore. “That’s because I’m making my own lane.” Yes, with the monumental success the budding Country superstar has already seen in 2024 alone, it’s safe to say Wetmore’s lane is one in which Country music fans across the globe are eager to join him. On the heels of two mega-streaming debut singles, “Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin’ You,” both of which hit the Billboard Hot 100, Wetmore, who was also named Billboard's May Country Rookie of the Month, is well on the way to becoming one of the year’s certified breakout stars. “It definitely caught me off guard how many people those songs resonated with,” the Washington-born singer-songwriter says of the pair of songs, which combined have already amassed more than 100 million streams on Spotify alone. To date, Wetmore has notched nearly a quarter of a billion career streams. “I knew they were special but I could never have guessed they’d have this kind of weight behind them,” he adds of the two massive singles.
There’s a whole lot that Wetmore better start getting used to: like, say, being mentioned in the same sentence as some of Country’s biggest acts, including Luke Bryan with whom Wetmore is hitting the road with in September on Bryan’s FARM TOUR 2024. Or hearing his fast-rising songs shouted back to him every gig by his ever-growing fanbase. “At my first headline show ever, people were already singing my songs back to me,” he says seemingly still in disbelief. “It was nuts! The past five months have been some of the craziest of my entire life. My entire life has changed. I can’t really even put it into words.” At CMA Fest 2024, Wetmore’s first official performance reached 10x capacity, nearly shutting down Broadway.
Wetmore signed a major-label record deal this summer with UMG Nashville in partnership with Back Blocks Music. He recently dropped a fiery new single, “What Would You Do?,” and has two songs featured on the star-studded soundtrack of “Twisters” (“Already Had It” and “Steal My Thunder” (with Conner Smith)). With a ton of more music on the way, things may seem a bit surreal at the moment. But make no mistake: the 24-year-old, whose songs reflect his cross-genre musical upbringing, embracing all manners of Country, reggae, rock and hip-hop, albeit anchored by classic Country storytelling, has undoubtedly worked his tail off to get to this point in his life and career. “These last four years weren’t for nothing,” Wetmore says of the arduous yet supremely beneficial time he’s spent in his new adopted home of Nashville, during which he’s signed a publishing deal, written a slew of top-notch songs with accomplished co-writers and solidified himself as one Music City’s most promising young names. “We’ve built the catalog,” the singer-songwriter says with a smile of penning hundreds of songs to date that he’s in the process of whittling down for his debut project.
A self-described “goal-oriented” person, Wetmore has always worked hard to achieve everything he’s gotten in life. Whether it was winning state championships in high school sports or taking to piano at age 11 and quickly finding it a therapeutic refuge, the earnest and thoughtful young man – who grew up in the church where his grandfather was a pastor – was raised to understand that work ethic and faith are two of the most important pillars in a meaningful life.
“Everything I have is earned,” Wetmore says without hesitation. “I’ve just always worked my ass off.”
That hard-working streak kicked into high gear when Wetmore’s life took a drastic turn at age 19. Playing football at the time for Montana Technological University, Wetmore began to feel as if his life wasn’t heading in the direction he desired. One evening, he prayed for guidance. Or at least a sign. The next day, on the very first play of football practice, he broke his leg in three places. “At the time it sucked, but it was one of the biggest blessings I’ve ever received in my life,” he says in reflection. Almost immediately, Wetmore decided to leave college, moved home to Kalama, Washington (pop: 2700), and turned to what had always gotten him through tough times: music. “I just started writing a bunch by myself — practicing and learning how to write a song. Learning my voice because I had never really sung before. Learning my sound. I just leaned on music.”
In 2020, at his mom’s suggestion, Wetmore took a trip with her to Nashville to see if it might be a good fit for him to further pursue his musical ambitions. “A couple days into our trip, I remember going to a lake and looking over the city and I was like, ‘I’m gonna do it, mom.’ I got this overwhelming gut feeling that I needed to come here. It’s something I can’t really explain. A month later, I packed up my things and moved to Nashville without knowing anybody, knowing anything about the music industry and moved smack dab in the middle of Nashville and just started meeting people and seeing where that would take me.”
His career quickly took off: after meeting Back Blocks founder Rakiyah Marshall, he signed a publishing and artist development deal with her company, started writing endlessly with his newfound friends and musical peers and worked his way to where he’s at today.
Which, to be clear, is quite an enviable position: Wetmore is playing a string of high-profile shows this summer and, to hear him tell it, he couldn’t be more thrilled at the prospect.
“Playing shows and touring is what I was born for, truly,” he says proudly. “When I get up onstage, I feel all my worries and all my stresses and all my anxiety go out the window. I can be me and truly me.”
As for what lies ahead for him for the remainder of 2024, Wetmore, like always, is decisive in his plans: “Play as many shows as I can and release my first project,” he says.
“Everything’s moving super swiftly,” he continues. “So just being happy is my goal. And giving myself time to sit back and think about all the blessings God has been giving me every time I open my eyes in the morning.” Wetmore pauses and smiles. “Yup, it’s safe to say I’m very blessed.”
Tucker Wetmore Boiler:
Having notched back-to-back spots on Billboard's Hot 100 with his debut singles “Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin' You,” as he clocks in over a quarter of a billion streams in four months, Washington-born singer-songwriter Tucker Wetmore is well on the way to becoming one of 2024’s certified breakout Country stars. Wetmore brought his music directly to the fans when he hit the road earlier this year on Kameron Marlowe's Strangers Tour; this fall, he joins Luke Bryan on the Country superstar’s FARM TOUR 2024. Already making his mark on Country radio, Wetmore is currently climbing the airplay charts with “Wind Up Missin' You.” Recently named Billboard's May Country Rookie of the Month, Wetmore is carving a path of his own in the Country world: the 24-year-old’s songs reflect his cross-genre musical upbringing, embracing all manners of Country, reggae, rock and hip-hop, albeit anchored by classic Country storytelling.
“The past five months have been some of the craziest of my entire life. My entire life has changed. I can’t really even put it into words,” Wetmore says of his meteoric 2024.
Wetmore signed a major-label record deal this summer with UMG Nashville in partnership with Back Blocks Music, recently dropped a fiery new single, “What Would You Do?,” will have two songs featured on the star-studded soundtrack of “Twisters” (“Already Had It” and “Steal My Thunder” (with Conner Smith) and is setting his sights on releasing his debut project in early 2025.
“Everything’s moving super swiftly,” Wetmore says. “So just being happy is my goal. And giving myself time to sit back and think about all the blessings God has been giving me every time I open my eyes in the morning.” Wetmore pauses and smiles. “Yup, it’s safe to say I’m very blessed |
